Basic Throwing and Hand building Ceramics Class For Teens and Adults
with Rachel Brown:
Four sessions available
Come play in the clay; learn the basics or brush up on what you already know in a relaxed environment. A small class size will allow you to work at your own speed and on the projects that you want to focus on. Learn basic wheel, centering and simple forms, along with hand building techniques including slab building, slumping, coiling and pinching. Rachel will teach depending on the experience level of the class so handle pulling, foot atachement, trimming and other basic techniques may also be covered. Also, feel free to use the class time as independent work time if you already have a project in mind. Rachel will help as little or as much as the student needs.
Ages 13 and up.
